Manufacture 2030 (M2030) announces that Toby Newman has joined the executive leadership team as Chief Executive Officer, while Martin Chilcott, Founder of M2030, will continue to play a pivotal role, after serving as CEO for the past eight years. 

Manufacture 2030 (M2030) announces that Toby Newman has joined the executive leadership team as Chief Executive Officer, while Martin Chilcott, Founder of M2030, will continue to play a pivotal role, after serving as CEO for the past eight years.

This change to the executive team will strengthen M2030’s future growth and mission to help clients achieve their Scope 3 supply chain emission reduction targets. 

Toby Newman’s appointment as CEO

Toby Newman joins Martin Chilcott along with Richard Lloyd-Williams, COO and Oliver Cunningham, CFO on the executive leadership team. 

Toby Newman brings two decades of experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence across software development and data solutions. 

Toby will be responsible for driving strategic direction and managing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring continued delivery of value to M2030 customers and partners. 

I am honored to step into the role of CEO at Manufacture 2030. Scaling the impactful work already being done will be critical to enabling our customers to confidently meet their Scope 3 targets and drive meaningful change across supply chains.

Martin Chilcott’s role as Founder

After founding and leading M2030 since 2017, Martin Chilcott will continue as Founder, and be the primary ambassador of the business, providing thought leadership and promoting M2030's products and services.

It has been a privilege to lead Manufacture 2030 over the past eight years. Continuing in my role as Founder, I am excited to focus on growing the market, driving thought leadership, and enabling manufacturers and their suppliers to tackle the complex challenge of managing and reducing supply chain emissions.

These leadership changes will position Manufacture 2030 for its next phase of growth and support developments in its product offering.
