Last week, Manufacture 2030 joined Third Way and the US Department of Energy to explore the role of energy efficiency in helping US manufacturers to increase their economic competitiveness, improve job growth, stay at the forefront of shifting energy demand and achieve climate goals.

During this session, we investigated:

  • The current energy challenges being faced by US manufacturers;
  • The opportunities energy saving can provide for manufacturers in the US;
  • How the US Department of Energy’s Better Plants can help manufacturers to tackle energy efficiency within their operations, and
  • Examples from across the industry of how US manufacturers are benefitting from energy saving initiatives.
