Our unique software platform and dedicated support services help global companies understand and reduce the Scope 3 emissions and other environmental impacts in their supply chains at scale.

We’re now on the hunt for a bright, enthusiastic, and motivated person to support our company as we scale our business significantly. Salesforce is at the core of our business operations, it must be accurate, fit to the business needs and useful to all teams so they can operate as effective and efficiently as possible. Our unique business model (and therefore sales pipeline) and rapid growth, means that edge-case exceptions grow in importance, and the CRM needs constant evolving and adapting always with a long-term vision and planning to ensure optimal effectiveness in the future. This role will be crucial to keeping Salesforce working as best as possible for our teams and driving the prioritisation of system and processes improvements. This will be a combination working closely within the Operations Team and Customer Success teams in the company to understand areas of pain that need to be improved as well as proactively identify areas of improvement based on the business needs.

While undertaking this role you’ll both rapidly learn new skills and contribute towards helping businesses across the globe reduce their environmental impacts and carbon emissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Upkeep, improve, adapt and manage Manufacture 2030’s Salesforce system:
  • Able to automate processes using core Salesforce tools such as flows, approval processes and validation rules. Update and adjust existing automations as business needs evolve
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Manufacture 2030’s business, e.g. our sales processes and different types of clients and services, to build and adjust our system so it works as effectively and optimally as possible for our organisation.
  • Creating and keeping up-to-date clear documentation on system structure, customisations, changes, automations, etc., to maintain the integrity of the system.
  • Use Salesforce data to identify and analyse challenges for the team with a focus on productivity improvement. Identify root causes of problems and make recommendations for solutions. The purpose of the role is to help maximize the value that we get from Salesforce.
  • Providing day-to-day support for Salesforce, including managing user setup, roles and customisation of objects.
  • Responsibility for testing new functionality within, and integrated to, Salesforce, and for quality assurance on any functional changes introduced in the Salesforce platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with all Salesforce changes, updates, new features, etc. ensuring all possible knock-on effects are mitigated, and proactively investigate if any new release can help us improve our current system and/or processes and/or solve previously unresolved challenges.

  • Understand all the different teams’ challenges and find solutions:
  • Work within the Operations Team to find solutions to the customer success team challenges and problems.
  • Speak to stakeholders from different teams and levels to gather requirements.
  • Use your Salesforce knowledge to find how Salesforce can solve our challenges, either by out-of-the-box features or through customisations and third-party apps.

  • Liaise with external parties for all Salesforce related work:
  • Help find the right provider when external support is required for specific jobs.
  • Work with external providers to get the required jobs delivered effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to solve problems in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Support the implementation and management of integrations:
  • Research and integrate beneficial or required AppExchange apps.
  • Support the integration of our Salesforce system with our own platform (Manufacture 2030 Platform) and any other required system, e.g. Finance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years minimum Salesforce administration experience, you must be a Salesforce Certificated Administrator.
  • Experience implementing and managing Lightning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, preferably for B2B organisations.
  • Hands on configuration and automation working with workflows, custom objects, and flows.
  • Strong communication skills, interacting with different types of stakeholders, external and internal. Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to connect and empathise with people from a non-technical background. You can securely gather feedback/needs, analyse them and work on those to deliver on people’s needs.
  • Enjoy efficient processes and finding ways to connect tools/systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement processes, procedures and policies. You’re able to take challenges and find solutions on Salesforce.
  • Able to handle all administrative functions as well as key business automation to improve process and save time.
  • Apex experience would be desirable.
  • Ability to work well in an international and multi-cultural environment.

Job summary:

Location: Oxford or potentially flexible in UK
Remuneration: £30 - 45k dependent on relevant experience
Tenure: Permanent / full time
