Partnerships Manager
We’re on the hunt for a proactive, hardworking, and motivated Partnerships Manager to join our Climate Program team.
Manufacture 2030 (M2030) is a fast-growth, purpose-led company working to accelerate progress towards the necessary carbon reduction targets needed to tackle the biggest challenge of our time. Our unique software platform and dedicated support services help global companies understand and reduce the Scope 3 emissions and other environmental impacts in their supply chains at scale.
We’re now on the hunt for a proactive, hardworking, and motivated Partnerships Manager to join our Climate Program team.
Role overview
The Climate Action Program is a big part of what differentiates M2030 from our peers. It provides resources and support for businesses big and small to help them identify and implement opportunities to reduce their impacts/emissions.
Providing the program to serve a growing customer base in the thousands, spread across 70 countries, and covering multiple industries and individual job roles requires a can-do attitude, great prioritization skills, and a good understanding of environmental sustainability topics.
The Climate Action Program is designed to be highly scalable. For example, recorded training videos, a calendar of live online events, the creation of a network of partner organizations offering beneficial services to M2030 customers, best practice templates, and much more.
As Partnerships Manager - Climate Program, you’ll join the team that delivers this program. You will play a key role in building out M2030’s global network of partners. These partners help scale our ability to make carbon reductions. Some may provide novel green financing opportunities to the manufacturing businesses using the M2030 platform, others may provide preferential rates for local services (e.g. energy audits or sustainability strategy development).
M2030 will provide these partners a route to market, and in return they provide our customers with great quality solutions to help them decarbonise. In addition, these partners are a fantastic source of expertise for training and skill development for our staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and securing new partners for the Climate Action Program. This typically involves screening and due diligence, negotiating agreements, and ongoing partner management.
- Work with expert partner organizations to deliver great quality training events and recorded sessions, across a range of topics. - Collaborate internally with the M2030 team, to both help promote the Climate Action Program and to gather feedback to continually improve what it covers.
- Package up Climate Program activities and partner content for the online resource centre provided to M2030’s customers.
